December 24th 2025 – Christmas Eve Giveaway by Professional Skateboarder Felipe Gustavo at Casselberry Skatepark in Florida
On Christmas Eve, Casselberry Skatepark was more than just a place to skate—it became a space for community. Local skater Felipe (@fgustavoo) welcomed his move to Orlando by giving back in a big way, hosting a Christmas Eve giveaway for the local skate scene.
Between sessions, Felipe handed out boards, merch, and gear to dozens of skaters, all while spreading genuine positivity and holiday spirit. The highlight of the day came with a smooth switch flip back tail at Casselberry Skatepark, a reminder of why moments like these matter just as much as the tricks themselves.
Events like this show how skateboarding continues to bring people together, especially during the holidays. Huge thanks to Felipe for supporting the local community, and welcome to Orlando, Florida. 🍊🛹

November 11th-12th 2025 – CuRBSHOW by Champs Tradeshow at Broward Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale Florida
CuRBSHOW came to Fort Lauderdale with a two-day skate event presented by Champs Tradeshow and hosted by professional skateboarder Chaz Ortiz, bringing together skaters and shop teams from Florida and beyond. The schedule included a cash-for-tricks session, a Shop Showdown, a mini ramp skatejam, and a unique session on a Jeep that was outfitted with rails and a box specifically for the event.
Day One featured an open cash-for-tricks jam followed by the Shop Showdown on the JAY RAMPS street course. The setup included a roll-in leading into a ramp with the option of a large hubba or a 6-stair set, plus a quarter pipe on the opposite side for a quick turnaround toward the gap. The format kept the skaters moving and made it easy for each team to show their individual style.
Day Two shifted to the GOAT RAMPS 28′ mini ramp for a fun, competitive skatejam, and later, a session centered around Champs’ owner, Kevin Dankman’s Jeep; modified with grindable features that gave skaters something completely different to work with.
Teams traveled in from Modern Skateshop (Michigan), B&B Skateshop (Nebraska), and riders connected with the Take Flight brand, along with a strong showing from Florida shops like Galactic G (Orlando), Funk’s Board Shop (Deltona), and Greater Miami Skateshop. Many other shops and crews were represented as well, making the event a mix of new faces, traveling teams, and local staples all sharing the course.
I attended with Galactic G and Funk. Both teams walked away with cash, and two Galactic riders placed: Mikey Sanchez earned 5th place in the Day One Shop Showdown, and Kevin Sikes took 2nd place overall on Day Two during the Jeep session.
CuRBSHOW was a well-run event with a supportive atmosphere, creative setups, and solid skating throughout. Thanks to Champs, the sponsors, media crews, and everyone who participated to make this such a great event! The next CuRBSHOW event will be held in Las Vegas, in May 2026!
